   GRI is the symbol of the Graduate Realtors Institute professional designation series. The designation stands for "Graduate, REALTOR Institute." The Institute provides an educational curriculum for REALTORS who desire additional education in real estate beyond minimum standards required in most states for licensing. The Education Committee of the National Association of REALTORS developed and oversees the GRI program. REALTORS with this designation have had advanced training in areas including, but not limited to, real estate finance, ethics, agency, and sales. Only about 9% of agents nationwide have earned the GRI professional designation.

The symbol is recognized nationwide. It shows clients the holder has a solid grasp of real estate fundamentals. The program is the foundation for the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and Georgia Association of Realtors real estate advancement program.
